Charleston, SC 4th of July Celebrations
Come join Charlestonians in
celebrating the 231st anniversary of our nations independence.
Being such a historical landmark, the Charleston area offers many
different fireworks celebrations collaborated for a night of fun, food
and firework explosions.
The USS Yorktown will be center stage for one of Charleston's spectacular
pyrotechnics displays. Located minutes from new Ravenal bridge,
Patriots Point will offer music, dogs burgers, and plenty of other
patriotic food and drink. Word is...that these characters spent a
lot of dinero on this years bang, so don't miss the boat.
Need directions? Take I-26 to downtown Charleston. Take Hwy. 17 North,
cross the Cooper River Bridge and follow signs to Patriots Point.
What are Mt. pleasant restaurants and
bars offering?
Another fireworks display will be held in the heart of Summerville, SC.
The Red, White, and Blue on the Green is conveniently located in
Town Square from 5-8 PM. Fireworks will be set off in Oakbrook,
just a hop skip and a jump down the road. Enjoy dogs, burgers,
live music, and a ""decorate your wheels" contest. Break out your
American pride and show your stuff!
Summerville's bars, pubs, taverns and restaurants will definitely be
the before and after spots on this unforgettable day.
Folly beach, located about 15 minutes from downtown Charleston, has
always been my personal favorite locale to enjoy the fireworks display.
Have cocktails and dinner on the beach or one of folly beaches local
restaurants and bars early. Then settle down with a blanket and a
cooler and watch the sky light up. I-26 to downtown Charleston.
Take Hwy. 17 South to Folly Road (Hwy. 161). Take a right and go to the
end of Folly Road to get to the beach. Park and it is just a short
stroll to the Folly Beaches premier
restaurants and bars.
Another personal favorite location to watch the 4th of July fireworks is
on the Isle of Palms. Party the night away at the Windjammer or
another beach bar. How convenient...bars and fireworks. If
that's not a celebration, than what is? Visit
IOP's many bars and restaurants
for a damn good time.
As a patriotic city, the greater Charleston, SC area is the place to be
for the 4th. See what
Charleston
areas restaurants and bars have lined up for our day of
independence.
