26th Annual Taste of Charleston
October 7, 2007

Boone Hall Plantation  The taste of Charleston is back again...one can almost feel the nip in the air and smell the sweet aroma of Charleston, South Carolina's world renowned restaurants.  This fun filled, afternoon, October event will be held at Boone Hall Plantation as usual. Just hop on Highway 17 North from downtown Charleston.  The Taste of Charleston will be held from 10:30 am through 5:00 pm.

The town of Mount Pleasant is happy to support this 26th annual event held by the
Greater Charleston Restaurant Association.  50 of Charleston's premier restaurants will participate in raising money while showcasing our tasty low country cuisine.

The “Taste” will benefit the Hollings Cancer Center,  The Ronald McDonald House, and  the Charleston County Science Materials Resource Center.

Enjoy the local sounds of Plane Jane at 3:00, participate or watch the waiters wine race, enjoy a beer and wine tasting with beers and wines from around the globe, and watch local chefs prepare their signature dishes in the "Culinary Corner".

What a blast this has been in the past...put your drinking and eating shoes on and "get down". Advance tickets are $8.00 and are available through the Association office. Tickets purchased at the gate are $10.00. Please leave the dogs and coolers at home.

Why stop when the "Taste" is through...continue your evening throughout Mt. Pleasants restaurants and bars.
