 The 18th annual Charleston Blues
Bash, brought to you by Southern Comfort, will be rockin' again this
year with 10 days, 15+ venues, 35+ acts. Enjoy blues
tunes at the restaurants and bars in/on
downtown
Charleston,
West Ashley,
James Island,
Folly Beach,
Daniel Island and
Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.
Here's just a quick peak at the 2008 "Blues Bash" event headliners;
Ricky Godfrey Blues Band with Clifford Curry and Angel Rissoff will be playing Friday, February
8th, 9PM at
Fiery Ron's Home Team BBQ with a few other
live shows as well that night. On Saturday, February 9th, 1:30 at The Charleston County Library
watch live music with Studebaker John and The Hawks. Last years
performance at the Charleston County Library with
Shrimp City Slim can be seen here. Modern Blues at
its best.
Next, you have Alberta Adams and Ceecee Collins with RJ's Rythem
Rockers. They will jam Friday, February 15th at noon with Rob Baskerville at The
Charleston County Library. Saturday, February, 16th jam with the Davis
Coen Duo at The Mill at 9PM.
The Grand Finale of the 2008 Blues Bash will be held Sunday February,
17th from 4PM to 8PM on Bowen's Island. Shrimp City Slim and Smoky
Weiner and The Hot Links are just a few that will jamming for The Blues
Relief Fund Benefit.
Night time performances for the 18th
Annual Low country 2008 Blues Bash, held in the
Charleston areas clubs and restaurants generally start around 10:00 PM, and other
performance times range from afternoon to evenings. Some "Blues Bash"
events start at 9:30. Leave the kids at home for Blues Bash events held at Charleston's nightclubs, and bring them
along for other events in the afternoons and evenings.
