2nd Annual Charleston Cinco De Mayo Festival
May 5, 2007

Cinco De Mayo Festival in Charleston, SC  This year will be the second annual Cinco de Mayo festival held on May 5, 2007 at The Visitors Center Bus shed between Anne and John Streets in Charleston, SC.  Yes..."La Has" is always  "bueno", but try some authentic Mexican dishes you just don't get to try everyday.  The Charleston Cinco de Mayo Festival in  South Carolina will have all that jazz along with plenty of Margaritas and Mexican beer.

Live Latin Music by DJ Luigi Bravo of Latin Groove, live Cuban music, a Mariachi style band, along with professional salsa performances will light up Charleston's Visitors Center Bus Shed.

One can sit back and jam to Latin beats while sipping' Margaritas and Mexican beer, and tasting some authentic Mexican and Caribbean fare.

When the party ends at the Charleston Visitors center take the celebration  to one of the bars in Charleston, SC to party and enjoy the nightlife upper King Street has to offer.

So, grab a cerveza and "undalay undalay" to the next hot spot!

Cinco de Mayo  is a traditional Mexican Festival commemorating the Mexican Army's victory over the French in "The Battle Of Puebla" in 1862.  A Portion of the Cinco De Mayo's proceeds go towards benefiting Trident Literacy Association (TLA).  Last year the festival raised over $3,500 and in 2007 they hope to raise $5,000.
