2010 Festival of Homes and Gardens in Charleston, SC  This Charleston event is a festival for those of us keen on history and beauty.  One can take tours through approximately 150 historic homes in 10 neighborhoods that represent the colonial and antebellum periods. 

  See these splendid, blooming gardens and magnificent, antique interiors at some of Charleston most celebrated historic properties. During these few weeks we are at the peak of the city's beautiful blooming season.  Unite with other enthusiasts and visit up to ten historic Charleston homes a day. 

  Some other features during this years festival include; oyster roasts and picnics at Drayton Hall, luncheons, and daily walking tours through our historic district.  This Charleston event is coordinated annually by the Historic Charleston Foundation...visit their web site for more history in Charleston, South Carolina.
