2007 North Charleston Arts Festival

Get the whole family together to help support one of North Charleston's most
prestigious art festivals. The 2007 North Charleston Arts Festival
will celebrate "art" from all walks of life and will attract over
30,000 visitors.
The main hub in North Charleston for the Art festival this year will be
at the Performing Arts Center and the Embassy Suites Convention Center, a
hop, skip and a jump from the Charleston International Airport.
Go enjoy magicians, dance groups, bands, theater troupes, vocalists,
storytellers and
"everything else art" located mostly at the Convention Center and
Performing Arts center but also through out the North Charleston area.
There will also be an outdoor food court area to get a quick bite before and
after performances. In this same area there will be an outdoor
performance stage so you can relax while you watch.
The outdoor North Charleston Art Festival grand finale will be held
Saturday, May 12th at
Riverfront Park in North Charleston at 7:00pm, following the
"Outdoor Sculpture Competition and Exhibition" opening reception.
The finale will host live music, a picnic and 2 outdoor movies right off the
Cooper River...what a good spot for the finale.
