2010 Charleston Oyster Roast at Boone Hall  Oh yeah...its definitely oyster season in Charleston, SC.  Join other oyster fanatics in celebrating that "salty crustacean".  This annual tradition will be held Sunday January 31st, 2010 from 11:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. and gates open at 10:30 A.M.  Boone Hall Plantation will host this annual Charleston event as usual and it is located right off of HWY 17, on Long Point Road.

  This years Boone Hall Oyster Festival will be no different from the last with an oyster eating contest, an oyster shucking contest, and live music by one of Charleston's favorite bands.

2010 Lowcountry Oyster Festival at Boone Hall Plantation  Plenty of "suds", the ultimate oyster accompaniment on a brisk day, will be available with beer stands from Bud, Miller, Guinness, and Palmetto Brewery.  If oysters aren't your forte, other Charleston food favorites will be available on site.

  Dress for the weather, some years are cold and wet...but if you come with the right gear it will be "no sweat".  Remember that beanie!

  That January Sunday will be rockin' in Mt. P...so find the right Mount Pleasant bar or restaurant to carry on that buzz.
