Do ya' like brave heart, kilts, bagpipes, and Scottish heavy
athletics? If you answered yes, come join thousands in celebrating
the 41st Annual Scottish Games and Highland Gathering in Mt Pleasant, SC. This Charleston,
South Carolina event will be held at Boone Hall Plantation September 15,
2012, from 9AM to 5PM.
Scottish pride will be in the air with Scottish country dancing,
piping, drumming and fiddling. There will be plenty of music this year
with over 100 pipers and drummers. The musicians will be performing live
Celtic Rock and other traditional music. Also, catch The Border Collie Challenge,
if dogs are of your interest!
Ethnic food vendors will be on hand for some
of your favorite Scottish (and American) plates. New to this years
Scottish Games & Highland Gathering in Charleston, check out the Scotch
Whisky Tasting!
This is a family friendly event in Charleston, so pack up the kids and
head over to Boone Hall Plantation located on Long Point Road just seconds
from highway 17. Children's activities will be available to keep the
young ones busy! Bleacher seating will be available for a prime time
view of this years event!
