   Charleston, SC is the place to enjoy the 2008 St. Patrick's Day celebration.  Charleston, SC definitely has its fair share of an Irish population, but you don't have to fit this category to know how to enjoy yourself on St. Patty's Day.  Grab your lucky green outfits and get your bellies ready for some traditional St. Patties day meals and alcoholic beverages at Charleston's Irish Bars.
 
  Restaurants and bars across the Charleston area will be plenty festive on St. Patrick's Day 2008 offering a plethora of green beer, beads, Guinness, Irish car bombs, Jameson's Irish Whisky, live music and traditional Irish eats.

  Join Mad River Bar and Grille located on 32B North Market Street in Charleston for their second annual St. Patty's Day party.  Last year was rockin' all day long and we only expect bigger and better for the 2008 St. Patty's Day. This year they are starting on March 14th and ending late on the 17th.  Doors open March 17th at 9am with a "kegs n eggs" breakfast.  The outside patio will be off the hook with live music by StoneKing all day long.  Shots, green beer specials, and authentic Irish tunes will last all day.  This will be the largest St Patty's Day celebration in Charleston.  The first 100 people through the door will get a free St. Patty's Day T shirt.

  O'Malleys on Upper King Street in Charleston will be throwing a St. Patty's Day Party to remember.  Live Music will include; Two Three Ways at 5PM, New Image at 10PM.  Also watch Irish step dancers and a pipe band.  Enjoy a Full Irish menu including; Guinness Beef Stew, Bangers and Mash, Shepherds Pie, Fish and Chips, Corn beef and Cabbage, Irish Soda Bread, and The Dublin Burger.  Prize giveaways by Jameson's Irish Whiskey.
