Summerville, SC
Once petite, now explosive, Summerville, SC is
one of the up and coming cities outside of Charleston, South Carolina. Main street
in Summerville harbors
many authentic pubs, fine and casual dining restaurants, unique bars, and
much more nightlife. Summerville, SC still has that cozy feel that I hope
the small town
will never lose.
Summerville,
historically, was
said to be the safe haven just far enough inland to protect early settlers
from mosquitoes, heat, and disease. By moving to this densely wooded, slightly
elevated area early Charlestonians would seek refuge from the coast.
Since then Summerville has "stepped it up a notch" and established it self
as beautiful suburb of Charleston, SC with fine dining, low country cuisine
and restaurants.
The small town feel
of Summerville, SC is starting to be sought out by tourists, locals,
and businessmen. This reflects in their low-country cuisine which is
offered in their restaurants, bars and pubs. Also, this is the home to the
only five star resort and fine dining restaurant in South Carolina.
Seek it out and you will be dazzled.

Summerville always
has something, as far as events go, up their sleeves. The "flower
festival", and the "taste of the town" are just a few good times.
Visit Summerville's bars, restaurants, and nightlife establishments for good times before and after
these "shindigs".
