Once petite, now explosive, Summerville, SC is one of the up and coming cities outside of Charleston, South Carolina.  Main street in Summerville harbors many authentic pubs, fine and casual dining restaurants, unique bars, and much more nightlife.  Summerville, SC still has that cozy feel that I hope the small town will never lose.

  Summerville, historically, was said to be the safe haven just far enough inland to protect early settlers from mosquitoes, heat, and disease.  By moving to this densely wooded, slightly elevated area early Charlestonians would seek refuge from the coast.  Since then Summerville has "stepped it up a notch" and established it self as beautiful suburb of Charleston, SC with fine dining, low country cuisine and restaurants.  

  A great stop while you're visiting Summerville, SC is Oscar's Place. Oscar's offers an upscale version of casual dining and has a full bar, private dining rooms, intimate seating and a patio. Oscar's Place has served Summerville and the Charleston area for over 25 years.
